Node.js Talk at Pittsburgh TechFest 2012

I'm very excited to announce that I'll be speaking at Pittsburgh Tech Fest 2012! The event will be held on June 9, at La Roche College.

Pittsburgh TechFest is a one-day event for software developers in the western PA area, organized by some awesome guys from local dev user groups.

My talk will be entitled "Node.js: A Guided Tour", and is intended as a primer to one of my favorite development platforms. There are also a bunch of other speakers presenting some very interesting looking sessions, on topics such as:

• 3D scanning with Kinect
• Decaf Introduction to CoffeeScript
• Creating Your Own Software Company
• Exploring UX techniques and practices
• Intro to Functional Programming using Scala
• And many more!
